The Hello Morning - Self-Titled

Having already gained an impressive following over the past few years, Melbourne's own The Hello Morning are about the drop their debut album.

The Honey Pies - Carpe Carp

Canyons – Keep Your Dreams

The debut record of experimental duo Canyons is a trek through synthy disco beats, psychedelic saxophone breaks and an ocean of ingenious sample work and tribal drumming. Track “See Blind Through” pays homage the 80s Chicago deep house scene, featuring Nite Jewel’s Ramona Gonzalez on guest vocals.

Scotdrakula - Crackstrength EP

Melbourne’s Scotdrakula are leaping from strength to strength, creating infectious garage-pop numbers oozing with energy and youthful vibes. Crackstrength is the debut EP from these scuzzy pop rockers.

Lost Animal - Ex-Tropical

The solo project of Jarrod Quarrell (St Helens), Lost Animal is a woozy, drunken exploration of tropical reggae and dub underpinned by an urban post-punk atmosphere. Supported live and recorded with Shags Chamberlain (Pikelet, The Smallgoods), Quarrell’s swagger and intense vocal performance breathes life into a truly warped record of dark pop.

Husky - Forever So

Blowing up with the single History’s Door earlier this year,  Melbourne’s Husky have quickly carved themselves a niche as unique innovators in the Australian folk scene. Their debut album is a lush collection of soft home-recorded numbers, mixed by master producer Noah Georgeson who has worked alongside Joanna Newsom and Devendra Banhart

Twerps - Twerps

Twerps’ third self titled record is a celebration of lethargic, twinkling guitars and beach-vibes.   Loose surf jams bristle and slide alongside sloppy grunge anthems that call for the start of the summer season.

The Fearless Vampire Killers - Batmania

A clever melding of garage rock, surf-pop jams and rock and roll, The Fearless Vampire Killers have crafted a guitar-rock record brimming with energy and enthusiasm.  Batmania is an energetic debut release produced by Lars Stalfors known for his work in the studio with The Mars Volta and Matt and Kim.

Wintercoats - Sketches EP

Melbourne’s James Wallace crafts ornate and orchestral arrangements and sonic experiments in his second release via Mistletone records.  A talented Multi-instrumentalist, Wallace’s music combines piano, violin and haunting lush vocals together.

Brous - Brous EP

The powerful and bewitching vocals of Melbourne's Sophia Brous are effortlessly supported by 60s chamber pop and psychedelia arrangements. Brous' unique and powerful voice is the standout in this debut release that sees the artist drawing on her influence from film scores and jazz.
