In his regular column in The Age newspaper last Wednesday, Former Federal Treasurer Peter Costello argued that AFL players should stick to sport, and leave charity and the rest to others - such as politicians. ALF players are not the right role models, he argued, especially in light of the St Kilda sex scandal.
