Following a recent procedural breakdown of one of the world’s leading ‘conflict diamonds ‘ watchdog, the Kimberly Process , over the controversial resources from the Marange fields of Zimbabwe ,experts warn that may soon find their way into the hands of unknowing consumers . Reporter Chad Phillips spoke with Alan Martin, Research Director of Partnership Africa Canada (PAC) on why this is a concern and a dilemma facing the Kimberly Process.

Understanding AIDS

The theme for World AIDS Day 2010 is "Take Action. No Discrimination." The aim is to encourage all Australians to be aware of the prelavence of HIV/AIDS, to take action to reduce the transmission by promoting safe-sex practices, and to accept individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
