A year in the Navy

Launched in the final days of the Howard Government, this 12 month program spcifically targets school leavers by offering them a taste of military life, and the potential to earn upards of $50, 000 over the course of a single year.
 
Reporter Cory Mulroney spoke with Lachie, a 19 year old who decided to do a GAP year in the Royal Austalian Navy.
