Interview: Stage Fright

Have you ever had Stage Fright? Thai Phuong Nguyen certainly has. That's why she, along with many other shy, yet talented artists initiated "STAGE FRIGHT", an event empowering creative individuals who normally shy away from showing others what they love to do. Arts Mitten's Sandra Lee spoke to organiser Thai Phuong Nguyen and digital artist Viet-My Bui about how the event, a fundraiser for Able Australia, helped them and many other under confident young artists face their fears and get a chance to stand in the spotlight.

Living with a disABILITY

Living with a disability or caring for someone with a disability in Australia isn't as easy as many of us would like to think. The support for families, carers and young people with disabilities may be there, but it does not go far enough to meet the demand.
Panorama reporters Sophie Malcolm, Reena Gupta and Nickie Aslanis look at what it's like to care for a family member, be a young disabled person aged care facility and how disabilities are portrayed in the media.
