The Microsoft imagine cup is a competition that gets students all round the world to use their imagination and technology to solve global issues. As with most other things in life, Melbournians have shown to succeed, with team Melbourne SOAK taking out the 2008 championship. Ed Hooper who was a member of team SOAK and is now a finals judge for this years cup came into the studio for a chat.

In our final interview of the season, Ed Hooper shares his story of winning the Microsoft Imagine Cup from among 200,000 competitiors in 100 countries! His winning team, SOAK, later tried to commercialise their product but never got it off the ground, an experience from which Ed shares a wealth of valuable lessons. He is now working on Just Start Small - a business incubator for students and young people.
