Sharing online: where does it go?

Have you ever stopped to consider where that status update, photo or video might go after you've put in on Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites?

On Panorama we took a look at the consequences of sharing too much. You might pay the price later on when applying for jobs or houses in the near future. 

 

Also, we find out how advertising are targeting what they are selling us by working with Facebook to understand what we might want to buy.

What to eat and when to eat, that is the question

What we eat, why we eat and how we eat - that's what we looked at on Panorama. Young people, Gen Y, are known for our fast paced lifestyles and our need for instant gratification, but does this rub off on our food choices? Are we choosing the cheap and nasty over healthier foods?

We also look at the what we eat debate. Vegan, vegetarian or fully-fledged meat eater.

Feminism isn't dead in 2011

This year prominent Australian feminists such as Germaine Greer, Anne Summers, Elisabeth Evatt and Eva Cox were put on stamps, bringing to light the past and future for feminism in Australia. It got us here on Panorama think about what feminism means to young people in 2011? Is it a relevant today as it was 30 years ago?

Are young people becoming less religious?

 

The 2006 census told us that atheism and agnosticism are on the rise. In five years ago27% of Melbournians said they had no religion and in Australia, that number is 18.7%. And with the 2011 census just months away, many are predicting that number will rise.
