ARTillery Youth Arts Festival

Florence had a chat with Izzy Roberts-Orr, slam poet Luka Lesson and hip hop musicians Mata and Must, about the diverse array of performance-driven events they have organised for Amnesty International’s ARTillery Youth Arts Festival.
 
ARTillery is running until 10 December in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra.

Overload Poetry Festival 2010: Luis Gonzalez Serrano Interview

We chatted to Luis Gonzalez Serrano, the Artistic Director of the Melbourne Overload Poetry Festival, about freedom of speech, censorship in Australia, video poems, the launch of the Melbourne Poetry Map project, the Tri-Nations Poetry Slam held on Skype and all the highlights that Luis has in store for the festival.  The Overload Festival will go from 10-19 September 2010.
