Express Media Awards Extravaganza!

Florence talked to Joe Toohey, general manager of Express Media, about their upcoming Awards Night Extravaganza, and also how Express Media has been focusing on creating heaps more avenues for young writers to have their work published this year.
 
The Express Media Awards Extravaganza is a free event and is taking place on 16 December at the Wheeler Centre from 6.30pm.

ARTillery Youth Arts Festival

Florence had a chat with Izzy Roberts-Orr, slam poet Luka Lesson and hip hop musicians Mata and Must, about the diverse array of performance-driven events they have organised for Amnesty International’s ARTillery Youth Arts Festival.
 
ARTillery is running until 10 December in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra.

Network Nerds at SIGNAL

Florence had a chat with I.T. guru Craig Lambie about a social media workshop he is co-ordinating at SIGNAL called Network Nerds that is giving young people the opportunity to become online ambassadors for SIGNAL. 
 
Network Nerds is running at SIGNAL every Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm until 1 December.
