The western suburbs of Melbourne are known for their diversity and multiculturalism. In Footscray particularly, despite a reputation for drugs and street violence, the area is turning into a vibrant hub for arts and culture. Only 2 train stops from the city, the west is a more convenient and exciting player in the Melbourne arts and music scene than many realise.
