A Fitzroy Romance at La Mama

Local writer Kieran Carroll has created a romantic play about the impact that a serious accident has on a young couple living in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy in the 1990s.  The play is called A Fitzroy Romance and it will be performed at La Mama Courthouse from the 18th to the 29th of May.

Brighter Whiter and The Gift at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival

If you love both comedy and theatre or you're looking for something a bit different at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, go and see two short plays written by Anthony Noack.  One's called Brighter Whiter and the other's called The Gift.  Brighter Whiter and The Gift both make tongue-in-cheek comments about the sometimes fickle world of business and marketing.  Florence spoke to Anthony Noack and actor Heidi Valkenburg, who stars in The Gift.
