Being a teenage mum

The teenage years are arguably the most tumultuous of your life. Puberty, figuring out who you are, awkward encounters with the opposite sex and hair where there was none before.

But for some young women, these encounters lead to something much more adult - pregnancy.

Maternity leave: how much for how long?

The Rudd Government's recently passed paid maternity leave scheme will provide working parents with minimum wage entitlements for the first eighteen weeks after the birth of their child. In a surprising move, the Opposition is calling for more funding and wants big business to foot the bill.
