D day for Occupy Melbourne

 Since the early hours of Friday morning, police tried to move on Occupy Melbourne protesters, taking down the tents they have had set up in City Square for six days. Police moved into the area in the early hours of the morning and as the day went on, the number of protesters and police swelled.

The Gillard government says they have been doing whatever they can to get Aussies out of Egypt since the unrest began last month. But one young Melbournian, Rachelle Dunstan, was stuck in Cairo airport and had to use family connections and bribes to get a flight out. 

 

She spoke to Panorama's Samantha Lowcock and Tim Cuthell.
