Songwriting in London: Interview with Halfway

Florence talks to Brisbane rock-roots band Halfway about their experience of writing an album in London after winning the Grant McLennan songwriting fellowship award.  Halfway also gave a live acoustic performance of the song "110" from their new album, An Outpost of Promise.

Kuranda Splendour: Interview with Zennith

Florence chats with lead singer Aden Brim from indigenous roots band Zennith about songwriting while travelling, as well as the excitement of being chosen to play at this year's Splendour in the Grass festival.

Last Show

 This is the last show we did for Bigger Than Hip Hop on SYN. Sadly we had to stop early as both of us are heading overseas for a few weeks. On the show we talk about America’s Best DJ nominations for 2010, play a fresh track by local emcee Vince Vega, talk about the upcoming gigs (Muph  Plutonic, DJ Premier, Common, Gift of Gab) do a sample competition and give away over 20 CDs to listeners.
