ARTillery Youth Arts Festival

Florence had a chat with Izzy Roberts-Orr, slam poet Luka Lesson and hip hop musicians Mata and Must, about the diverse array of performance-driven events they have organised for Amnesty International’s ARTillery Youth Arts Festival.
 
ARTillery is running until 10 December in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra.

Interview with poet Sean M. Whelan

We chatted to Sean M. Whelan about, "Softly and Suddenly", his debut CD collaboration with rock band The Interim Lovers.  "Softly and Suddenly" meshes spoken word poetry  with instrumental music. Sean M Whelan and The Interim Lovers will be performing at The Toff In Town on Sunday October 24 at 8pm.  Tickets cost $12 or $20 with the CD.
