Interested in being a DJ at SYN 90.7 fm

 Hiya.

I have applied for the Bachelor Of Communication (Journalism) degree at RMIT. I found out about SYN FM through RMIT, and after browsing some of the groups and listening to a few segments on the live internet radio, I absolutely loved it!

My course begins next year in 2011 for the summer intake, where I'll definitely be looking forward to applying for a DJ position at SYN.

I was wondering though, being an international student, from the United Arab Emirates, do I have the same opportunities for a position to be a presenter for SYN FM as the local Australian students do? In my opinion, my spoken English is fairly fluent and comprehensible.

Just wanted to know if I stand a chance if I decide to apply.   :)

Thanks xx

 Hi,

Syn welcomes all students. You will need to sign up to be a member ($15) and undergo training ($40). Then you can either join one of the permanent running (flagship) shows or you can write a proposal for your own show and submit it. They explain all this in the info session.

Hope that helps!
