I spoke to Tamil Rogeon about the RaAh Project and the incredible creative process behind putting together a large scale work in an incredibly unorthodox way. The project has been called the most accomplished orchestral/soul project to ever come out of Australia and has been likened to projects by The Cinematic Orchestra and the Mathew Herbert Big Band, with a distinctly unique, Australian sound.
 
We discussed this uniqueness and its relationship to the vast isolation of Australia, which itself forces our artist to look ever inwards.
 
The concert was on the 19th of Feb at the Melbourne Recital Centre and was sold out but the RaAh project is returning to Melbourne in December 2010.
