The La Mirada Film Festival for Spanish film was created by Rocio Garcia, who has managed to get some of the world’s most iconic and talented filmmakers to be curators and visiting guests in the festival each year. For example, Pedro Almodovar is La Mirada’s patron.  This year’s guest curators are Ken Loach, Ang Lee and Antonio Banderas, and the visiting guest is the acclaimed Spanish actor Unax Ugalde.  Florence talked to Rocio Garcia and Unax Ugalde about all the highly anticipated screenings and events in this year’s La Mirada festival program. La Mirada is on until Tuesday 26 April.
