Melbourne International Film Festival Review

Beth reviewed a selection of films showing at this year’s Melbourne International Film Festival: the French film Fleurs du Mal directed by David Dusa surrounding the events of Iran's Green Revolution in 2009, the exploitation thriller X directed by Jon Hewitt based on Sydney’s criminal underworld and Chinese veteran director Zhang Yi Mou’s Under The Hawthorn Tree, a love story set during the Cultural Revolution in China.
 
The Melbourne International Film Festival goes from 21 July- 7 August 2011.
