modern australian food: podcast 15th sept
I found myself obsessed with scones last week so as a result, we had a show entirely devoted to Australian food. I was joined by my buddy Shu Shu and we attempted to unravel the mystery that is 'modern Australian cuisine'. I found some pretty good tips on the SBS food safari site if you were keen to get some knowledge on that.
Also I trialed the CWA scone recipe - only dairy!! I would recommend halving the quantities as they appear in that version unless you need 36 scones for some reason. They are pretty much only good fresh, even storing them in airtight containers doesn't retain the quality much I'm afraid. So the search is still on for the perfect scone that doesn't go yucky within a day...
