You may have seen those ads featuring Cate Blanchett, funded by Get Up, the Australian Council of Trade Unions and other organisations, about saying Yes to a price on carbon. There has been criticism of the ad for using animation and celebrities which don't connect the carbon price with Australians who it will impact.
But there still hasn't been a decision made about the starting price but as Emma Buckley Lennox reports, there is progress is happening slowly.
