Bondi incident

Seven people have died after a stabbing in Sydney - including the attacker.

The incident happened at Westfield Bondi Junction on Saturday afternoon.

NDIS concerns

68 per cent of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants surveyed by campaign group Every Australian Counts disagree with a proposed change to support.

The NDIS is a program that funds support services for disabled Australians.

A review of the scheme has recommended the mandatory registration of all support providers.

There was greater support for this amongst participants' families and service providers, but the majority still disagreed.

Childcare wages

The Guardian Australia is reporting childcare workers may soon receive a pay rise.

The United Workers Union has been advocating for the federal government to fund a 25 per cent wage boost for the sector.

That comes after aged care workers won a pay increase of up to 28 per cent in March.

The federal budget will be handed down in May.
