Bringing big Aussie names and giving a spotlight to local artists, The Pushes All Ages Tour hit Geelong, featuring some of the most exciting new up-and-coming talent.

As part of Always Live 2024, youth music organisation The Push brought big names to parts of regional Victoria, opening up the opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy and experience the thrill of live music.

Opening the show was triple j Unearthed competition winner Wild Gloriosa whose spellbinding vocal runs were sent straight into my soul.

Playing some of her enchantingly hypnotic tracks live, such as 'Lover Girl' and 'Joy'.

Accompanied only by a piano her stunning vocals filled the room, showcasing her absolutely amazing vocal abilities.

Next up was Brunette Red Dress, a four-piece who are pioneering a new sound for the alternative indie rock genre.

A mix of powerful harmonic vocals backed by gritty and grooving bass and guitar lines; the four-piece put on a stunner of a show for their hometown audience.

The Alt-rock group Violet really brought the energy to the next level when taking to the stage.

I was amazed by their ability to intertwine slower-paced tracks, into full-on tunes you could mosh to within a manner of seconds.

Their tracks “Hourglass” the first single ever released from the band, and their latest track 'Bird' really encapsulated the classic alternative rock sound of bands we all know and love such as The Arctic Monkeys and Radio Head.

A local act that the crowd went absolutely wild for was the boys from Good Sniff. With Lachie Brown on Drums and Elias Hodson on bass the two-piece powerhouse really got the crowd going.

Playing tracks off of their latest album 'HARD KOOK', the crowd was loving every bit of their high energy non-stop performance.

A highlight of the set was the track 'Bong Flu' which received a thunderous scream from the audience, a track that really saw the mosh pit get up and going.

The end of the set saw a dance battle for a Good Sniff T-Shirt, with the crowd really bringing out their best dance moves in order for a legendary prize.

It was then time for the final act of the night, the boys from WA, DICE.

Fresh off the back of a world tour in honour of their debut album Midnight Zoo their high-energy live performance is truly something you need to experience.

Their track 'This is Not a Love Song' really rocked the house down with its gritty sound and epic guitar solo, along with the killer of a tune 'Reality' showing off the stunning vocal abilities of Ben Hodge, and the insane musical abilities of Tom King, Regan Beazley and Sam Barrett-Lennard.

Finishing off the night with their iconic track 'Stop Sign, Hodge, told the crowd to get down on the floor and go crazy at the drop of the last chorus, igniting the mosh pit for one final time.
