Schools on Air is SYN’s educational radio training program where students broadcast live-to-air or pre-record radio shows "as live" weekly, fortnightly, monthly – how often it suits you and your students, on SYN Media, 90.7 fm, DAB+, syn.org.au throughout a school term and with SYN's School Holiday Programs in the holidays.
This SYN Media Learning Program includes a training workshop before going on air, and the support of a SYN producer in the studio for all recording sessions, ensuring students continued learning and support for each show.

In the training workshop, students will:

Learn about responsible broadcasting, radio show structure and script writing

Practice planning and presenting a radio segment in groups

Record a short demo in our professional studios

Learn how to prepare and present their weekly shows

Receive templates and resources to complete their live show preparation after the training workshop
