Does your class have the gift of the gab? Now we're talking!

Schools on-Air is SYN’s live-to-air educational radio training program where students broadcast weekly on SYN 90.7 FM throughout a school term. The package includes a 2-hour training workshop, and the support of a SYN producer in the studio during weekly recording sessions.

In the 2-hour training workshop, students will:

  • Learn about responsible broadcasting, radio show structure and script writing
  • Practice planning and presenting a radio segment in groups
  • Record a short demo in our professional studios
  • Learn how to prepare and present their weekly shows
  • Receive templates and resources to complete their live show preparation after the training workshop

Duration: 90 minutes + weekly shows

Year levels: 7–12 & tertiary
