Based in RMIT's Melbourne City campus, SYN offers media workshops for school students of all ages – including primary, secondary, TAFE and University students.
For over 20 years, Student Youth Network (SYN) has been empowering young people to make their mark on the Australian media landscape. Each year, we provide over 4000 students with engaging, hands-on training in radio and podcast production within our state-of-the-art recording studio.
SYN’s programs put students in control of a real recording studio. Creating a podcast or radio project fosters personal confidence, creativity, teamwork and combines oral and written language skills. Every class is taught by a young media professional.
